Tim Volkers 2001 Mustang is quite the build. Tim is a true racer through and through he built almost the entire car himself and called in favors only when needed. Starting with under the hood is a BBF 472, decked out with only the best. The fully built boost ready 472 is equipped with AFR Bullet Heads, a custom ground Lunatti cam, Diamond dish pistons and Eagle rods. The BBF is fed by an 83mm BMW Series Turbocharger supplying the engine with plenty of boost. Currently on low boost the car is making 900hp with room to grow. The fully built C6 Transmission coupled to the 5000 stall converter allows this car to launch like a rocket. Running 315 Mickey Thompson Drag Radials puts motion to the massive amounts of torque and power this boost loving mustang is producing. This car can run a 16.5 tire but Tim enjoys running a radial and plans to run No-Prep this summer. I can promise you that we will see faster and faster times as the car gets dialed in.
